All the treks of Kullu (Himachal Pradesh India) is connected by 'our coach' with Delhi, Chandigarh, Jammu and Srinagar.

Day 01 : Manali-Nagar

Manali-Nagar (1767 / 1840m) - Rumsu (2135m) 29km - Reach Nagar by bus. From the bunglow go towards the Roerich Art Gallery, turn right and climb for 3 Km t Rumsu village, an old typical habitation with a temple. Continue for 4km to a camp ground (2378m).

Day 02 : Rumsu-Chanderkhani Pass

Rumsu-Chanderkhani Pass (3541m)-Malana 12Km - The trail leads through tall pines along the S side of Chakki Nala. After 3km the forest limit is reached and alpine meadiws stretch ahead. The pass is shaped like a crescent moon hence the name. After June there will be little snow on the ground, and a rising traverse up the curved ridge leads to the top. Extensive panorama all round of the Bara Bangahal, Pir Panal ad Parbati ranges.
On the other side, a clear trail descends steeply for 4km to Malana. Until 20 years ago, entering Malana was prohibited. Even now, though one can go into the village, visitors must not touch the walls of the temple or accost the people. This locality is a republic, governed by a parliament called Koram. The inhabitants have distinct customs. Camp outside the village near a stream.

Day 03 : Malana-Chhota Grahan Thach

Malana-Chhota Grahan Thach (3355m) 12Km - An enjoyable stretch; a broad trail meanders N/NE along the Malana Nala, throgh dense forest and meadow clearings; the valley widens at the camp ground. This is an ideal camping place with a variety of wild flowers and herbs all round.

Day 04 : Chhota Grahan-Khiksa Thach

Chhota Grahan-Khiksa Thach (3660m)-Malana Glacier (3840m) 13km - The trail ascends to a ridge, goes down to the stream again and continuous upwards through bushes. after 3h reach a small valley, Khiksa Thach, which offers views of high peaks and is drained by tiny streamlets of clear water. It now becomes difficult to follow the main stream; bear left on to a ridge and follow this with several ups and downs for 3-4h, and finally down on to the Malana Glacier. Ali Ratni Tibba towers majestically above to the S; to the N are the peaks of Indrasan (6221m) and Deo Tibba (6001m).

Day 05 : Nagar Site Seeing

Day 06 : Manali Local Seeing

Drop at Kalka / Chandigarh.
